Leigh uses an age old process of fusing metal and glass to create her wearable enamel art.  The appearance of the enamel on the surface of the finished piece results from the application of powders and various fragments of glass on the surface prior to firing. Chemical reactions take place when these materials are exposed to the scorching temperatures of the kiln.  Each piece is a unique work of art.
